Question 1

When am I charged?

Accepted Answer

Nothing until it books your first 3 jobs. A booked job is a real customer appointment with their name, phone number, street address and a day; test calls and spam never count. After that it's a flat monthly fee, month to month.

Question 2

Do I keep my phone number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You turn on call forwarding from your phone, which takes about 5 minutes, and every call goes to your receptionist.

Question 3

Does it pretend to be a person?

Accepted Answer

No. It answers in your company's name, and if a caller asks, it says it's your company's automated assistant.

Question 4

Is there a contract?

Accepted Answer

There's a short written agreement, but it's month to month. Email us 15 days before the next billing period and it stops there. No cancellation fee.

Question 5

Does Apex guarantee jobs or revenue?

Accepted Answer
